Women's Save Dennis Tee
Women's Save Dennis Tee
Dennis is baby Orangutan was rescued from a wildlife trader in Bandung in 2015.
Little Dennis is just another victim of the vicious cycle. Dennis would normally still live in the forests with his mum if it wasn’t for this industry destroying the forests where Dennis used to live. His mother was killed in the process to be able to capture Dennis. He then would be sold to people wanting a pet or to a zoo, This then contributing to the ‘Illegal Wildlife Trade’.
Luckily, Dennis fell into our arms and has been cared for at the wildlife rescue center Cikanaga, our sister organization for eight months where he doubled in weight and strength before his relocation to his ‘homeland’ with the Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Program.

Organic cotton is grown without harmful chemicals, leaving the soil, air and water free from contaminants that cause harm. Organic cotton produces around 46% less CO2e compared to conventional cotton. It also uses far less water to grow since organic cotton growers typically utilize rain far more than irrigation.
However organic cotton is less than 1% of the cotton grown today.
The Cold Pad Batch Dyeing (CPB) Technology we utilize, uses 80% less water than the conventional vat dyeing method. The latter requires very large quantities of salt and water to allow the color to stick to the fabric. The saltwater needs to be disposed of after dyeing and, without the correct system, is usually disposed of into natural water ways and rivers, destroying the ecology. CPB dyeing requires no salt, the color is rolled into the fabric through a press roller. This method is highly effective and creates far less wastage. We are happy to dye our fabric from the only CPB dyer in Southeast Asia
To remove all shrinkage from our finished T shirts, we cut and wash the fabric before producing garments. Our laundry doesn’t use any chemical-based detergents and produces eco-friendly detergents made completely from plants
Our screen-printing process is done with Japanese water-based inks which are also Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certified and 100% free of PVC, dangerous phthalates, formaldehyde, heavy metals, AZO compounds and non-ylphenol xenoestrogens. Our screen printing is cleaned using a distilling method that allows us to separate and remove the inks by drying and removing them from the wastewater.
